The governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Muhammad Dele Belgore, has sent a message of condolence to the family of the late first Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Adamu Attah over the death of the former Governor.
In condolence message signed by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaiye, Belgore also condoled with the government of Kwara and Kogi states as Attah ruled Kwara when some parts of Kogi were still part of the state between 1979 and 1983.
According to Belgore, “the late Alhaji Atta departed at a time our country is in dire need of such core professionals and genuine statesmen to offer their wealth of experience. One of his undying legacies and contributions to humanity was his establishment of the Obangede Specialist Hospital. He would be sorely missed.
“I commiserate with the the immediate family and people and governments of Kwara and Kogi States on the death of the statesman. I pray the Almighty to bless his soul and give the family the strength to carry on his legacies”.
