The lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, when asked if she would take the position of Lagos State deputy governor, responded thus: “If you are offered, wouldn’t you take it?”
She is being rumoured to be primed as the running mate of the governorship candidate of the party in the state.
The lawmaker, who withdrew from the race to return to the lower arm of the National Assembly, a day before the Reps primary in Lagos, said this while fielding questions from journalists at the All Progressives Congress national convention in Lagos.
She however said, “I don’t know the next step that I will take.”
Speaking further, she commended the conduct of the event so far, adding that it would be transparent and hitch free.
