Ekiti State government has rolled out telephone numbers that people in the state can call for quick intervention in event of emergency.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Special Duties, Princess Adekunbi Obaisi assured people in the state of rapid response from rescue operators when they call the nearest team.
The statement listed the numbers to include 08110000731 for the Fire Service Headquarters in Ado Ekiti; 08110000732, Fire Station, Ikole Ekiti; 08110000733, Fire Station, Ikere Ekiti; 08110000734, Fire State, ijero Ekiti; 08110000735, Fire Station, Aramoko Ekiti; 08110000736, Fire Station, Omuo Ekiti and 08110000737, Fire Station, Ido Ekiti.
Others are 08110000738 for the Police, 08110000739 for the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and 08110000740 for the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
It assured that all the lines are opened 24 hours a day from Mondays through Sundays including weekends except those of SEMA and FRSC which are available from 8am to 4pm daily.
