After shunning several calls for a national broadcast, President Muhammadu Buhari has finally succumbed to the demand to address Nigerians over #EndSARS protests and subsequent killings that followed the protests, reports The Gazelle News.com.
A statement by the Special Advice to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina said the President will address the nation 7pm Thursday, 22 October, 2020 after being briefed by security chiefs.

Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.
Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
