Travellers and motorists plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway route have been experiencing excruciating traffic girdlock since the morning of Friday, 16 October, 2020, as the #EndSARS protests took a turn for the worst, reports The Gazelle News.com.
Eye witness told this medium that the #EndSARS protesters have blocked both end of the ever busy road from the Punch end hence no movement into and out of Lagos on the busy road.
“We are stranded here. Since 7.30am that I left home, here I am still at Ibafo,” a motorist told our correspondent.
The Gazelle News.com observed that motorists and passengers who are hooked up in the traffic have abandoned themselves to fate.
“You can see people going down to eat and return to their vehicles. We have abandoned ourselves to fate. There is no way we can move,” a passenger told our correspondent.
