The second term aspiration of Honourable Lanre Ogunyemi (HLO) to represent Ojo State Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly received major boost at the weekend with the Badagry Divisional leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) endorsing his ambition.
At the divisional meeting which took place on Sunday, 2nd November, 2014, at the secretariat of Ojo Local Government in Ojo, the divisional leader and newly elected senatorial leader of the APC for Lagos West Senatorial District, Prince Rabiu Adio Oluwa, announced that since the party leadership had decided to give first timers in the state Assembly another chance, and coupled with the excellent performance of HLO, he has been endorsed for a second term in office.
The announcement was unanimously adopted by members present at the meeting and it was a general acknowledgment and confirmation of the remarkable performance of Ogunyemi both as a lawmaker and politician.

Alhaji Amure also announced that Ogunyemi has been endorsed for a second term in office.
According to Alhaji Amure, apart from the fact that the party leadership at the divisional level has endorsed the lawmaker, the remarkable achievements of HLO have also made the decision very easy for the party leadership to take.
