The appointment of a member of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Adedeji Osho as a member of the Lagos State Kick Boxing Association has been revoked by the state government, reports exclusively by The Gazelle News.com.
Investigation revealed that the revocation came after the Lagos4Lagos Movement issued a press statement congratulating some of its members giving board appointments by the state government.
The Gazelle News.com learnt that Adedeji Osho was the only member of the Movement who accepted the state government offer as about four others outrightly rejected their appointments.
However, the government was not comfortable with the statement from the Movement on its members appointed hence outrightly revoked the one given to the only Movement member who accepted the offer.
Not only that, the Government has also put on hold the swearing-in ceremony for members of various sporting associations in the state earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, 11 March, 2021. Although no reason was given for the postponement of the event, The Gazelle News.com’s investigation indicated that the decision to put the swearing-in ceremony on hold was to enable the state government to chop for new replacement for those who have rejected their appointment offers.
