The Lagos State House of Assembly complex at the Alausa seat of power in Ikeja, southwest Nigeria, was a beehive of activities of Wednesday, 18th June, 2014.
Elected councillors from 54 out of the 57 local governments and local council developments areas in Lagos State were at the premises on the invitation of the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Honourable Adeyemi Ikuforiji.

The meeting took place at the Lateef Jakande Auditorium inside the Assembly complex.
At the meeting, this medium learnt that the councillors told the Speaker of the running battle they were having with the chairmen of their councils.
Ikuforiji assured the councillors that he would take up their matter with their various council chairmen. He later told them formally of his governorship ambition.
