Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 narrowly escaped being killed by policemen attached to a bullion van in Osun state.

Falae, who was abducted late last year by some kidnappers and released after paying some ransom was traveling in his jeep along Ikeji-Arakeji and Ipetu Ijesa in Osun state before the policemen attached to the money-conveying bullion van shot at him.

It was gathered that the policemen who boarded a Hilux van thought it was a robbery attempt before opening fire on the former finance minister and others aboard around 4pm on tuesday.
