The Vice Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Fouad Oki, has been appointed the new Director General of the Akinwunmi Ambode Campaign Organisation.
Thegazellenews.com learnt exclusively that Oki’s appointment takes immediate effect.
Oki, a veteran grassroots mobiliser takes over from Chief Funsho Ologunde, APC Vice Chairman for Lagos West Senatorial District.
Oki is a master strategist abd grassroots mobiliser per excellence.
He was instrumental to the formation of the Independent Campaign Group (ICG) in 2002 which successfully campaign for the reelection of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2003.
Then, he was the Director of Research and Strategy for the ICG.
In 2007, Oki was appointed Director General of Babatunde Raji Fashola Campaign Organisation overseeing the successful election of Fashola as governor of Lagos State.
Oki is expected to add his wealth of experience to the Ambode Campain Organisation with a view to strengthening it.
