In his bid to deliver more legacy projects across Isolo Local Council Development Area, the council Chairman, Hon Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye has paid an unscheduled visit to the on-going Idowu Oshifodunrin Street road project.
The project which was started late last year is gradually gathering momentum with the completion of the drainage.
Situated in the heart of Ire Akari Estate, Idowu Oshinfodunrin Street is a popular street which the Executive Chairman had promised to rehabilitate. He made the pledge in on 19 November 2020 during the official commissioning of 12 road project ceremony.
On Saturday, 23 January, 2021, the council boss paid an unscheduled visit to the project site and was greatly impressed with the progress of work.
He was met at the project site by officials of Ire Akari East CDA and the councillor representing Ishagatedo/Ire Akari Ward, Hon Bisodun Adeoye.
Hon Olaleye expressed delight on the progress and quality of work but also implored the contractor to hasten on the the progress to meet the three month delivery deadline.
