The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Honorable James Abiodun Faleke has commiserated with the families of victims of the Lokoja fire incident, Kogi State.
Faleke described the incident, as depressing, sad and sickening.
“I received the news of the unfortunate accident with grief and sadness, I am pained that it led to loss of lives and property of innocent citizens.
“I condole with families and friends of those that died in the incident and I wish those injured speedy recovery. I prayed God to grant eternal repose to the souls of those who died in the incident”.
The former Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State advised motorists to be cautious and drive safely on the roads.
“We should always avoid actions that can cause accidents on the road and one of the ways we can do this is by abiding by the rules and regulations put in place by regulatory bodies to ensure safe driving on the road,” he said.
