The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr Abdul Azeez Olajide Adediran has inaugurated a 16-man Committee saddled with the responsibility of recruiting and mobilizing membership of the Lagos4Lagos Movement in the Diaspora.
Tagged Diaspora4Jandor, the group has been in existence for a little over a year and has enjoyed organic and sporadic growth so far. With membership cutting across the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and the United Arab Emirates, interest for Lagos4Lagos ideals continues to soar within the Nigerian communities in the Diaspora, necessitating the creation of the steering committee.
Working in tandem with the movement’s mobilisation strategy, the Steering Committee of Diaspora4Jandor was inaugurated at a virtual ceremony on Sunday, 25 April, 2021 at exactly 19:00 GMT (8pm local time).
Speaking on the development, the Lead Visioner of the movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) was full of praises for the members of the Diaspora4Jandor for thier belief and dedication to the movement’s cause. He stated that members of the Diaspora are undoubtedly critical stakeholders in the nation’s socio-political and economic affairs, especially Lagos.
The Diaspora4Jandor 16-man Steering Committee members are: Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye, USA; Oluwabiyi Boyede, USA; Muhammed Elegbede, USA; Kunle Dabiri, USA; Bamidele Adeniyi, UK; Sola Adeniyi, UK; Oludare Fanimo, UK; Ola Awodeyi, UK; Akeem Lanade, Canada; Segun Gbayi, Canada; Yetunde Thompson, Canada; Rilwan Idowu-Taylor, Canada; Olowu Ayodeji, UAE; Babatunde Olowu, UAE; Ajayi Oriyomi, UAE and Akubuike John, UAE.
The Central Coordinator Diaspora4jandor will be Kunle Dabiri.
It will be recalled that the Lagos4Lagos 51-man State Executive was recently inaugurated and sworn-in at the Ikeja State Secretariat of the movement and with the Diaspora4Jandor’s steering committee following suit, the stage is set for the movement to actualize its objective of becoming the rallying point for all that genuinely desire greatness for Lagos and her residents.
