The All Progewssives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, Honourable Abdur Raheem Olajide Jimoh, has said that Nigerians will celebrate a new change of government after general elections.
He disclosed this over the weekend as hundreds of his supporters took to the streets of Mainland to show their love and support for him and APC candidates to celebrate this year Valentine’s Day.
“Nigerians will celebrate a new change of government immediately after the general elections because that day will mark the end of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government in Nigeria,” he said.
Jimoh who was a former chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) said President Jonathan and PDP shifted election in order to avoid defeat.
“PDP and the presidency forced the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) boss, Professor Attahiru Jega, to postpone the general elections to avoid disgrace and defeat because of the history attached to Valentines celebration. Whether they like it or not the defeat will surely come because Nigerians are ready to march for Buhari/Osinbajo and other APC candidates,” the former boss of Yaba LCDA said.,
He called on Nigerians to vote for change, insisting that the PDP would cease to exist from March 28th, 2015, when the presidential elections will take place noting that the APC will sweep the polls.
The people of his constituency embarked on a “ Love Walk for Change” to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day and to win more support for him.
The Lagos House of Assembly candidate in Mainland State Constituency 1, Hon Oladele Adekanye also joined him during the ‘Love Walk for Change’.
The walk started from his campaign office at Borno Way in Yaba, through Oyingbo, Constain, Ipori, Otto, Makoko, Iwaya, Abule-Ijesha and among others.
