Lagos continues to be the epicentre of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and the state is nearing the 2000 mark in confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria, The Gazelle News.com reports.
As at Monday, 11 May, 2020, The state has recorded 1933 confirmed cases with 88 new cases reported on the day.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on its official Twitter handle on Monday, 11 May, 2020 that 242 new cases were reported nationwide.
According to the centre, Nigeria now has a total of 4641 confirmed Coronavirus cases.
Of the new number, Lagos has 88, Kano 64, Katsina 49, Kaduna 13, Ogun 9, Gombe 6, Adamawa 4, FCT 3, Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno and Bauchi have 1 case each.
