A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro has described the death of Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson as shocking and a loss too many.
In a statement personally signed by the 2-time Minister in Lagos, Senator Obanikoro described the late Mrs. Nelson as a quintessential, committed, and free-spirited person whose absence will be sorely missed by Lagosians, especially the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State and indeed, Nigeria.
The statement reads in part, “Mrs. Nelson was a pillar, a mother to many, an amiable sister, honest and a role model to many others. She devoted and committed her lifetime to lifting and developing others. Her death is a terrible loss to us all and we can only take solace in the fact that she lived a worthy life and we believe she has been welcomed by the angels in heaven”, Obanikoro concluded.
The former Nigerian High Commissioner Ghana prayed that the Almighty God grants members of the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
