The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Apapa Local Government Area of Lagos State , Hon. Kevin Oluwaseun Gabriel has stretched out hands of fellowship to all those who contested with him for the party’s ticket, stressing that the success at the July 24th election is sacrosanct.
He made the appeal while meeting with some of the aspirants, noting that as a politician, the seat is for one person, but several people will jostle for the ticket, and that since he has been privileged to get it, he needs the support and assistance of all party leaders, members and especially, his co aspirants to win the election convincingly.
Hon Gabriel disclosed that though the good work of the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu will help tremendously, there is need to carry everyone along in the build up to the election, so that the election will be won effortlessly.
In his words, “let me use this opportunity to appeal to all others, who contested for the seat with me. As members of the same party, winning the election is germane come July 24, thus we must do everything within our power to ensure success. Mr Governor’s projects speak volume, but we just ensure we work as a team for the progress and development of our local government. Your support is what I have come to request for. “
He stated further that, “I am not afraid to confront other parties, but I will always rely on your support as I can’t do it alone”.
KOG however promised that whoever works with him won’t regret as he will run an open door policy where all stakeholders will be involved in decision making, “we shall run a government with the people as focus, open door policy will be operated, where stakeholders will be carried along in decision making process. I don’t know it all. I need your support”.
