Lagos Approves Creation Recognised Cheiftaincy Titles For Five Lekki Communities

The Lagos State Executive Council on Thursday, 19th February, 2015, approved the creation of recognized chieftaincy titles for five towns in the Lekki Local Council Development Area.

In a press statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Ibirogba, the council also approved the appointment of incumbent chiefs into the positions.

The lucky incumbents are: Baale of Itoke, Chief Lateef Shokoya; the Baale of Olomowewe, Chief Sefiu Akorede Aguda; and the Baale of Ilege, Chief Shakiru Amodu Ejalonibu.

Others are: the Baale of Imobido, Chief Lateef Oluwagbemiga Jegede; and the Baale of Oke Segun, Chief Sabiu Adeyemi..
