Lagos State Government, on Friday, 19 June, 2020, announced the discharge of 98 recovered coronavirus patients reports The Gazelle News.com.
This medium also reports that it is the highest number of recovered patients for a single day since the coronavirus pandemic broke out in Nigeria.
The state Governor and Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, broke the news while giving update on the pandemic in the state on his Twitter handle.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that the total number of recovered patients in the state has risen to 1283.
Discharged on Friday after testing negative twice to the virus were 71 males and 27 females from the various isolation centres in the state.
Twenty three of the patients were discharged from the Onikan Isolation Centre; 17 from Gbagada Isolation Centre; 14 from Agidingbi Isolation Centre; One from Paelon Centre, an accredited private facility; 4 from the Infectious Disease Centre at Yaba; 22 from Eti Osa Isolation Centre; and 22 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centre.

Good people of Lagos,
Today, 98 fully recovered COVID19Lagos patients; 71 males and 27 females were discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
The patients, 23 from Onikan, 17 from Gbagada, 14 from Agidingbi, 1 from Paelon Centre (an accredited private facility), 4 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, 17 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) and 22 from LUTH isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to #COVID19.
With this, the number number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 1283.
