The Lawmaker representing Agege State Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Oluyinka Ogundimu has called on Lagosians to troop out in large number on Saturday, 11 March, 2023, and cast their votes massively for the state Governor and Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat.
Ogundimu who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Establishment, Job Creation and Pension, told Lagosians that a vote for the Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat ticket is a vote for continued growth and development in the state.
“It’s an open secret that the Sanwo-Olu administration has improved Lagos State since its assumption of office nearly four years ago. Lots of developmental and infrastructure growth have occurred. We need to consolidate on all these and continue to move the state forward.
“We must repay our dynamic duo with massive votes on Saturday, 11 March, 2023, because our state cannot afford to go backwards. A vote for any of the opposition parties and candidates, is a step backward for us in Lagos and we won’t witness that in Lagos,” Ogundimu said.
The Agege Lawmaker also called on Lagosians to vote for APC candidates running for various constituencies in the state Assembly.
“A symbiotic relationship between the executive and legislature is imperative and for us to achieve this we must ensure our party’s candidates are voted for,” he said.
