The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has commiserated visitor to the Institution and Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, over the death yesterday, of his mother, Mrs. Abigail Makinde, at the age of 80.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Michael Olufisayo Ologunde, in a condolence letter he sent to the bereaved Makinde, said the departed led a fulfilled life.
According to him, “that mama loves to witness the realization of your ambition to serve humanity as Governor was remarkable.
“She was able to offer you to us as a practical demonstration of a well trained child to whom elevation of life means all.
“We at LAUTECH share in your grief and pray the God grants mama eternity, while affording members of your family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.
