Former Managing Director of Lekki Concession Company (LCC), Mr Muhammad Mubashiru Hassan has called on wealthy Nigerians and industrialists to come to the aid of less-privileged in the society, reports The Gazelle News.com.
Hassan, also ex-Auditor General for Local Governments, gave this advice recently while distributing food items to some residents of Ojo in Ojo Local Government. Over 200 residents benefitted from the gesture of the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, coming to the aid of the less privileged in the society would also give them a huge sense of belonging.
Hassan stated furher that the era of pushing responsibilities of the less privileged to the government is long gone.
“This is because government at all levels have numerous socio-economic, political and security challenges to cope with hence there is the need for wealthy individuals to complement the efforts of government at all levels by coming to the aid of less privileged in the society,” he said.
The former LCC boss praised the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his giant strides in uplifting the Infrastructure, socio-economic and political development of the state since his assumption of office urging Lagosians to continue to support the administration.
