The National Youth League, the solid voice and genuine representative of Nigerian Youths, joins millions of Nigerians, and billions around the world to wish our revolutionary icon, servant of the masses , former Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale a blissful 40th birthday today, Thursdaay, 19th February, 2015.
This glittering day gives all Nigerians, particularly the youths to celebrate Comrade Adewale and reflect on the happenings in the country.
We will forever remain indebted to Comrade Adewale for his impact in his quest for a people’s country.
We are faced with the triple crises of unemployment, poverty and deepening inequalities, mainly affecting poor working class, youth and women. These can be attributed to the failing policies of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) controlled Federal Government, where corruption holds sway.
Comrade Adewale has always first and foremost been the leader of the people’s movement. He displayed this share tact during his reign as the Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), as well as, the President of the Lagos State University Students Union Government; the most virile university in Nigeria, and as such he never lost sight of his role as the leader and servant of the people’s movement..
His commitment, dedication, humility, selflessness, loyalty and discipline are unequalled and unparalleled. For this we salute our icon.
The best birthday gift the National Youth League and indeed Nigerians will give to this revolutionary icon is to vote for all the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the forthcoming general elections
