The Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala has commenced inspection of some decayed infrastructure facilities in the council area.
Hon Ajala stated that the aim of the inspection is to rehabilitate such infrastructure facilities.
Facilities visited include: bad roads, blocked and damaged drainages and areas prone to flooding during rainy season.
Speaking with residents at the various areas he visited, the Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA Chairman assured that his administration will leave no stone unturned in its desire to serve the people.
“The purpose of this visit is to inspect the extent of damages to these facilities and our areas of intervention. Having done this, we are going back to start work in earnest and very soon, full rehabilitation work will commence on all these facilities,” he assured.
Thegazellenews.com can confirmed that infrastructure development is one of the major five point agenda of the Ajala administration aimed at ensuring development and growth of the council.
In the entourage of Hon Ajala on the inspection tour were: the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Seyi Jakande; the council’s Head of Administration, Mr Shakiru Omotayo; members of the council’sLegislative Arm; the council Engineer; and other management staff of the council.
Areas visited are: Ogunji street, Oyegbola Street, Awoyokun Street, Anuoluwapo Street, Abiodun Street, Kumuyi Street, Fafolu Street and Alhaji Ota Street among others.
