Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr (Mrs) Idiat Oluranti Adebule has been named a member of the National Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports The Gazelle News.com.
Her appointment was contained in a press statement released on Tuesday, 14 September, 2021 signed by the Secretary of the party’s National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Senator John Akpanoudoedehe.
According to the statement, the Chairman of APC CECPC, Governor Mai Mala Buni approved the composition of a National Reconciliation Committee for the Party.
The Committee will be chaired by former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Other members include: former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara; erstwhile Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime; former Governor of Benue State, Senator George Akume; ex-Governor of Jigawa State, Ali Saad Birnin Kudu; Alhaji Suleiman Argungu; and Dr (Mrs) Beta Edu.
Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo will act as the Secretary of the committee.
