•Ighalo celebrates Watford win
Super Eagles and Chelsea on-loan right back Kenneth Omeruo enjoyed full 90 minutes yesterday as Middleborough hit Championship side Derby County 2-0.
Omeruo and his teammates did not hide their desire to walk off the pitch victorious, as they approached the game with all seriousness.
The no nonsense approach paid off as early as the 6th minute with an opener by Patrick Bamford.
A consolidation goal came for the hosts in the 63rd minute thanks to penalty converted by Grant Leadbitter.
Derby County were not left to worry and gnash teeth over the two zero defeat alone, but had also to make due with a red card handed Ryan Shotton just a minute before the second goal for Middleborough came.
While Omeruo and his teammates were busy enjoying the music against County, compatriot, Odion Ighalo who plys his trade with Watford equally recorded a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic.
Ighalo was however in action for 23 minutes after coming in as a substitute in the 77th minute for Czech Republic import Matej Vydra.
Although it was no scoring day for Ighalo, he nonetheless made a good show of his short spell on the pitch.
