That Omooba Adeyinka Adebayo Oyediran is an experienced politician is not in doubt. Except for mischief, malice and intrigues, no politician in Kosofe Local Government in particular and Lagos State in general would deny the fact that he is well qualified to hold any political office and acquaint himself creditably.
Omooba Oyediran has always been a progressive politician, he has always been in the fore front of struggle for the emancipation of the generality of the people through progressive ideals.
An astute business man and capable manager of human and capital resources, Oyediran from the onset knows what he desires for himself hence he chose a life of struggles for emancipation of the common man.
He had his early primary and secondary education in Ijebu Igbo before proceeding to the prestigious University of Lagos to study Data Processing and Computer Programming.
A thoroughbred professional, Omooba Oyediran is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in both London and Nigeria.


In 1989, he was a member of the Nigerian Trade Delegation to West African Counties and a member of the team that wrote the Bilateral Trade Agreement between Nigeria and Liberia the same year.
He has become a political juggernaut playing prominent roles in various campaigns involving the progressives. He was the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State on Political Matters between 2008 and 2011 and served as the Campaign Strategist for the Lagos East Senatorial District between 2018 and 2020.
He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cafe 18 Logistics and Services Limited and is on the advisory boards of several non-governmental organizations.
A human right activist, Omooba Oyediran is the President of Ipe Omo Oodua, a Yoruba socio-political self determination group while he is also the National President of Abusi Odumare Academy Old Students Association.
Not a few politicians from Kosofe are of the opinion that going by his antecedents, Oyediran deserves to be given the opportunity to fly the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 31 October, 2020 bye election to pick the replacement for the late Honourable Tunde Braimoh who died on Friday, 10 July, 2020 to represent Kosofe State Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
“He has paid his dues and he deserves to be given the opportunity. He knows the terrain and don’t forget that he had contested in the past but prevailed upon to withdraw his ambition by party leaders. He is loyal and committed party man,” Oladele Adebowale, a member of the party in Kosofe told The Gazelle News.com.
Omooba Oyediran told The Gazelle News.com that his main aim has always been to contribute his quota to measures and programmes that will enhance the welfare of the common man and improve their standard of living.
