The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Crusade Organisation (ABATCO) has congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akerodolu (SAN) on his victory secured at the just concluded poll for a second term in office
The group in a press statement released to journalist in Lagos on Sunday, 11 October, 2020 said Nigeria’s Democracy is evolving gradually with the process getting better as confirmed by both international and local observers who monitored the process.
According to the National Convener, Comrade Ayeni Oluwaseun, the group commended all the stakeholders especially the electoral umpire and the political actors, parties and the security personnel for playing according to the rules of the game which made the process more credible with equity and fairness to all which was responsible for the calmness and peace across the length and breadth of the state.
ABATCO, however, called on Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to run inclusive and participatory governance with a premium place on the well-being of everyone for more progress and development of the state which should be his utmost priority in accordance with the expression of the people at the poll.
The group used the medium to appreciate “our symbol Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership sagacity and electoral prowess that was put to test with the positive outcome recorded for the party at the poll while other party leaders were appreciated for the unity of purpose and resilience demonstrated before and during the election”.
Finally, the group called on all the stakeholders from Ondo to make sure the unity of southwest region towards the 2023 agenda is sacrosanct in the dealings.
