Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State, has stated that Governor Obaseki did the right thing by defecting to the PDP.
The former Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last election, took to his Twitter handle to congratulate Governor Obaseki.
He wrote: “I congratulate @Governor Obaseki for joining the PDP.
“Your movement is a step in the right direction to end the rascality in Edo politics, especially at this time when the country should focus on ways of ameliorating the huge suffering of Nigerians due to #COVID19 pandemic.”
