Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang , on Monday, 3 February, 2025 sworn-in five newly appointed commissioners.
The governor in a ceremony at the Victoria Gowon Hall, New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos also inaugurated the governing councils of tertiary institutions across the state.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mutfwang highlighted the need for improved governance systems for the benefit of the people of Plateau state.
The Governor also urged the newly sworn in commissioners to stay committed to their responsibilities and serve the people with transparency and diligence.
“As public servants, you are the face of this government, and the citizens of Plateau State look up to you to not only uphold the principles of accountability but also to embody the spirit of innovation and responsiveness.
“The task before us is enormous, but with collective dedication, we can overcome challenges and bring about the transformation our people desire, the Governor stated.
