Governance is about delivering the dividends of democracy to the electorate. It is about making the electorate feel the positive impact of one’s administration. This is what brings the government and the governed together and create a conducive atmosphere for people to grow and develop.
Delivering dividends of democracy requires a collective efforts of the governed and the government: the government holds the responsibility of providing infrastructure to the people while the governed holds the responsibility of protecting and maintaining such infrastructure.
Overtime, the Chairman of Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, Princess Olabisi Adebajo has been maligned over the social media space. She has been called many derogatory names and so many tales most of which border on hyperbolic tales by moonlight.
The latest of such tales by moonlight article was recently circulated on the social media titled: Adebisi Adebajo: The Peak of Failure and Icon of Incompetence which as usual narrated a story of falsehood and character assassination of the person of the Mosan-Okunola LCDA Boss.
The purpose of this write up is not to write a rejoinder to the campaign of calumny being circulated but to change the narrative and present the scorecard of Princess Adebajo who has been revolutionalising governance in her council but doing so silently devoid of funfare and razzmatazz.
Princess Adebajo and her team are however not bothered by the campaigns of calumny rather preferring to concentrate on their duty of improving infrastructure and development in Mosan-Okunola LCDA. It is Election time and such campaigns are not unexpected, we remain unruffled but remain resolute and firm in our desire to make improve Mosan-Okunola and left it better than we have met it.
Thus, in the past three years and eight months here are highlights of the achievements of Princess Adebajo and her team.

The 2nd Phase of the Empowerment Initiative Programme took place on 27 February, 2018 while the Third Phase took place on 11 February, 2019. Over 200 residents of the council area have been empowered through these programmes.

On 7 November, 2017, she initiated the Elders and Widows programme. The second phase of the programme took place on 22 February, 2018. This programme is meant to make the elders and widows in the council happy, celebrate with them annually, shower them with gifts and cash. This is meant to give them sense of belonging and the response to the programme has been very massive.
Apart from above, on 13 December, 2019, Princess Adebajo held a Mega Empowerment for Widows and Senior Citizens in the LCDA.
