Ajala, Tejuoso and Alli all spoke at the Ilupeju secretariat of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA at a meeting between APC candidates in the council for the coming elections and stakeholders in the council area which took place, Thursday, 12th March, 2015.
Ajala who spoke first urged the people of the council area to ensure that the APC wins the coming elections with landslide votes. “We have tested this party in Lagos State for the past 16 years and with all sense of modesty, I stand bold to say that our party has transformed the state,” he said.
According to him, ‘to ensure continued transformation and progress of the state, we must vote for the APC.
“Equally, we are all living witnesses to the decay at the federal level occasioned by the misrule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Nigeria is at its tether’s end hence we cannot allow the PDP to plunder our country into further economic woes. Therefore, it becomes imperative for us to vote out this clueless government at the centre”.
The Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA boss also called on on the people to vote for all APC candidates for smooth working relationship between all arms of government noting that this will promote and ease good governance which will pave way for massive delivery of dividends of democracy.
Princess Tejuoso called on members of the party to intensify their efforts at ensuring victory for the party during the coming polls. “There is no doubt that we remain the party to beat but we must not relent on our efforts and we must not rest on our oars,” she admonished.
Tejuoso also called on Lagosians to cast their votes for all APC candidates noting that the party since commencement of the present democratic dispensation, has proven to be champion of promoting common people’s well being and progress.
Alli, a former chairman of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA advised the people to remain vigilant and ensure that the coming elections are conducted in peaceful atmosphere.
“Just as I will call on you not to relent in your support for the APC and all its candidates, I also want to advise to remain vigilant before, during and after the elections as loss of concentration can give evil doers the chance to perpetrate electoral fraud geared towards stealing our victory,” he said.
Alli assured the people of the commitment of the APC to promoting their welfare and ensuring that dividends of democracy are delivered to them even at their doorsteps.
