The member of the House of Representatives representing Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Honourable James Adisa Owolabi has commended the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the newly commissioned network of roads in his constituency.
On Monday, 23 December, 2019, the Lagos State Governor commissioned 31 roads in Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency to ease traffic in the area.
“This is indeed Xmas/New Year gift for us in Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency and on behalf of the people of this constituency, I want to express deep gratitude to the Governor for this remarkable achievement,” Hon Owolabi said.
The lawmaker stated that the newly commissioned roads would not only improve and ease traffic in the area in particular and the state in general, it would also improved socio-economic activities in the federal constituency.
“With the commissioning of these roads, lesser number of hours will be spent in traffic and on the road which will in turn improve socio-economic activities not only in Ifako Ijaye but also in the entire state,” he said.
Hon Owolabi described the road commissioning as fulfillment of one of the campaign promises of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in the state.
“This is a clear demonstration that in APC, we’re promise keepers. We will always work round the clock to deliver dividends of democracy to our people at all levels of governance,” the Ifako Ijaye Rep member said.
