Gernot Rohr, Super Eagles Coach, has called on players in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) to be prepared to be assessed as soon as club football returns to action.
It will be recalled that there have been calls from various quarters for the inclusion of home based players to the Super Eagles team. According to reports, this was even part of the contract Rohr signed.
However, Rohr, in a statement by Super Eagles Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye, had called on the home based players to be prepared for assessment.
He said: “The players should get ready because Rohr will be at the NPFL league venues to assess them. There are no security fears as everything would be put in place to ensure he does his job in secured environments.”
