Despite the public outcry against what has been termed illegal activities of SARS operatives, they this afternoon arrested Comrade Olusegun Adekoya at 3:22pm in Festac Town.
Just yesterday, coalition of civil society groups embarked on a nationwide rally to protest unlawful arrests of innocent citizens by operatives of SARS.
Comrade Olusegun Adekoya is the Personal Assistant to the former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Govt, Ayodele Adewale.
He said no offence has been attributed for his arrest.
Adewale noted that Segun Adekoya is a law abiding members of the community and had never had any criminal records.
