The teaching of religious studies  in Nigerian schools  has been advocated by the  National Legal  Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Muiz Banire to curb  the decadence and high level of criminality in the society.

Dr Banire made this recommendation at   the breaking of Ramadan fast  with the children from the Babel Salam Orphanage home.

Banire noted that what we have in the country today is people celebrating people convicted of corruption and other criminal activities.

He explained that he was touched by the pains the less privileged and the orphans go through ‎in the society to put in place various measures to have direct contacts with them.

On the state of the nation, Dr. Muiz Banire renewed appeal on Nigerians to always pray for the success of the Buhari-led government, appealing  to Nigerians to shun all forms of  divisive tendencies .
