The Governor Emeritus of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) recently received the ‘We Care for Humanity’ delegation, an affiliate of the United Nation at his residence in Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, southwest Nigeria who were on a courtesy visit.
The leader of the delegation, Princess Amor Torres, who was accompanied by the Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale noted that “We are here to get first hand information on our nominated awardees.
After discussing with the leader of the progressives in Nigeria, Asiwaju Tinubu, we can confidently say that it is an award well deserve.”
Princess Torres, who is also the founder of the non-profit organization, “We Care for Humanity,” stated that Asiwaju Tinubu will be presented with an award as the African Political Hero of the year alongside Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Comrade Ayodele Adewale and others, at the 2nd Annual “Global Officials of Dignity Award” at the United Nations headquarters in New York, United States of America. She also informed Asiwaju Tinubu that he will be delivering the keynote speech alongside with the Secretary General of the United Nation, Mr. Ban kimon.
Responding, Asiwaju Tinubu thanked the team for the visit, stressing that he will stop at nothing in spreading the audacious gospel of true federalism.
