The Oloworo of Oworonshoki, His Royal Highness Bashir Olountoyin Salihu Elebo has joined his ancestors, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The royal father passed on Monday, 30 August, 2021 in London after a brief illness.
He was the father of the current Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Prince Babatunde Saliu who until his appointment was Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Land Matters.
The monarch who celebrated his 20th years on throne last year was flown abroad recently when his health started detoriating.
His illness was the main reason he could not attend his son’s Inauguration as Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local Government.
The monarch was the first Oba of Oworoshoki.
One of his sons is also the Majority Leader of the Kosofe Legislative House.
