Nigeria striking sensation, Ebuka John Okoye on Sunday, 24 January, 2021 scored three goals to lead his club, ENPPI Football club  to victory over National Bank Football Club in the Egyptian Premier League, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The former Messiah Football Club of Lagos forward justify his club coach’s confidence in him with the hat trick in a match that took his team to sixth position on the 18-team Egypt Premier League table with a match in hand in the 8 weeks old league.
Speaking after the match, Ebuka who also played for MFM Football Club of Lagos before joining the Egyptian Premier League club, expressed joy over the goals but more importantly winning the three points at stake.
“To God be the glory, for today’s victory and also for the goals. I also thank my head coach and teammates for their support since I join the club. I will continue to give the club and team 100 per cent whenever I am called upon by the coach,” Ebuka stated.
Speaking further, he disclosed that this is fourth start of the season having played as substitute in the the club’s first three matches of the season.
“I have played in all our matches so far, playing as a substitute in our first three matches of the season, while I have started the last four matches scoring 4 goals so far, with more to come by His grace,” he informed.
He also thanked the fans for their support, promising to repay their support and love for the club with more goals.
However with Ebuka’s three goals on Sunday and one in their last match, he is now top joint scorer for the club with 4 goals.
