Barely 48 hours after a previous crash killed 14 people in Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, tragedy struck again as another fatal road accident claimed six lives.
The latest sad incident occurred on the night of Tuesday, 10 December, 2024 along the Auyo-Adiyani road in Guri Local Government Area of the state.
Witnesses revealed that the victims, all members of the same family from Adiyani, were returning from a condolence visit to relatives of those lost in the earlier accident.
The community, still mourning the loss of 14 lives, was plunged into grief as the second crash unfolded.
Eyewitnesses described the atmosphere as somber, with residents overwhelmed by the double tragedy.
