Ahead of the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state has fixed April 25, 2024, for its primary election

The party also pegged its expression of interest forms at N10 million and nomination form at N40 million, amounting to N50 million for aspirants seeking its ticket for the election.

This was contained in a notice issued by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, in Abuja.

“In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo State as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),” the party said.

According to the timetable, the party would commence sale of expression of interest and nomination forms on April 3rd and round off on April 10, 2024.

The party, however, said female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs) were to purchase expression of interest forms while nomination form is free.
