The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has congratulated Dr. Isiak Kayode Opeifa on his appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), reports thegazellenews.com
According to a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Alhaji Shamusudeen Owolabi Oseni, the appointment reflects his proven track record of exceptional leadership and transformational impact in the transportation sector.

Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, President of NASFAT, commended Dr. Opeifa for his remarkable achievements as Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, especially his pivotal role in the establishment of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). He also applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for identifying and appointing a visionary leader to revitalize the nation’s railway system.
NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, prayed for Allah’s guidance and wisdom upon Dr. Opeifa. He admonished him to continue exemplifying humility, accountability, and dedication as he undertakes the significant task of transforming Nigeria’s rail infrastructure.

“Dr. Opeifa’s leadership in the Federal Task Force on Apapa gridlock and port decongestion was also celebrated. His strategic approach to resolving transportation bottlenecks in Apapa demonstrated his capacity for solving complex logistical challenges with innovation and precision.
“NASFAT believes Dr. Opeifa’s expertise will bring significant progress to the Nigerian Railway Corporation. The society remains committed to supporting his vision and prays for his success in advancing national development,” the statement concluded.
