Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not intimidated by recent coalition talks among opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Uzodimma stated that Nigerians will ultimately decide the fate of political parties through democratic processes.

Speaking at an event where APC signed an agreement for a nationwide digital membership registration exercise, Uzodimma stated, “We are not afraid of what the opposition will say.

“Our duty is to organize our party to be respected all over the world. We are expecting elections, and APC is not a party built on a platform that expects no contest,” he said.

The digital registration initiative aims to modernize party operations and ensure accurate data management for future electoral processes.

The move comes as opposition leaders like former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar engage in closed-door meetings with other prominent figures.

Uzodimma noted that APC is well-prepared for any challenges ahead, especially as politicians begin preparations ahead of 2027.
