As the APC prepares for its primary election, unfolding events in the build up to the election indicates that some powerful forces are working behind the scene not to allow for a free playing ground for all aspirants. This development is not only undemocratic, anti-people but also a big slap on the collective faces of those of us who believe in democratic culture of free and fair election at all levels in our political space.
We also note with dismay the rising level of threats and harrassement of people; a political manipulation particularly from Omoba Murphy Adetoro, a member of the GAC who is allegedly using his influence to harrass and intimidate LGA Delegates to vote for his daughter Adeola Alimot Adetoro who had served as Deputy to Hon. Alaba for one-and-a-half-year and presently the Vice Chairman in the present administration and almost eight years in office.

We are therefore using this medium to plead with our leaders across board to ensure a level playing ground at the primary election so that the will of the people freely given at the polls can determine the eventual winner as the true choice of the electorate of Eti-Osa
We want to place it on record that as concerned loyal and committed youths of our great party, we have a full confidence on the leadership of our pragmatic and patriotic State Chairman, Hon. Pastor Cornelius Ojelade who has not only been steadfast in the discharge of his duties but also has a history of being an advocate of inclusion and fairness to every qualified aspiring members of the party.

Let us not also forget in a hurry that our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu went through a transparent primary election to pick the presidential ticket of our party.
It has therefore become incumbent on our leaders in Eti-Osa Local Government to allow all the aspirants to go to the primary on a level ground without hindrance.
