The Special Adviser to Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohammed on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, has pledged stronger collaboration with councillors across Alkaleri Local Government Area and beyond to promote the administration’s achievements.
He gave the assurance Wednesday, 8 July, 2026, while receiving a delegation of councillors from the local government at his office stressing the importance of effective partnership in enhancing public awareness of government programmes.
Comrade Mukhtar Gidado acknowledged the vital role councillors play in mobilising grassroots communities, noting that Governor Bala Mohammed has executed people-oriented projects across Bauchi State that deserve sustained public enlightenment and appreciation.
The Special Adviser commended the delegation for supporting Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration in delivering road infrastructure, potable water, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions across the local government area.
He urged the councillors to remain united and support all candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), describing their victory as essential to sustaining Governor Bala Mohammed’s developmental achievements.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Abdul’aziz Sulaiman said they visited the Special Adviser to appreciate his commitment to projecting the administration’s achievements and promoting government policies across the state.
Abdul’aziz Sulaiman also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation, supporting government programmes, and working closely with the Media and Publicity Adviser to ensure residents remain informed about ongoing developmental initiatives.
