Agege Sports Club, a family-friendly sports club devoted to providing opportunities for people to engage in sports activities and encourage members to live a healthy and active lifestyle, has held its retreat at the serene YBII Farms Resort in Abeokuta.
The just event, held every 2 years, featured the induction of 41 new members in a colourful Gala Dinner at the newly built bush bar within the expansive farm resort.

The high point of the 2-day event was the inauguration of the newly elected members of the Executive Council to steer the affairs of the club for the next two years.
New club President, Oluseyi George, in his acceptance speech, thanked the outgoing Exco for their impressive work in stabilising the club and plegded to take the club to the next level of growth and community relevance.

Newly elected Exco members include: Oluseyi George, President; Dayo Oduntan, Vice President; and Gbenga Dosumu Esq, General Secretary.
Others are: Yinka Akintola, Financial Secretary; Remi Aboderin, Public Relations Officer; Felix Arauwou, Chief Whip; Serifat Ogunsolu, Treasurer; Mary Oduah, Welfare Officer; Kayode Alabi, Social Secretary; Niyi Tejuosho and Stanley Adiele, Ex-officio members.
The key note speech at the retreat was delivered by Prof, Raheem Akewushola, Provost of Lagos School of Health Technology, while the Chairman of Agege Sports Club BOT, Dr. Oluyinka Ogundimu gave the welcome address.
