Agbado-Okeodo LCDA Initiates N30m Monthly Empowerment Scheme for Residents

The Chairman of Agbado-Okeodo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Abiodun Ishola Jimoh, has initiated a N30 million monthly cash transfer programme to lift indigent residents of the council area, reports thegazellenews.com

According to the council Chairman, the scheme was established to lift indigent residents of the council area with the view to providing them with minimum cash to improve their businesses.

Tagged, ‘Renewed Hope Cash Transfer Empowerment Initiative, the scheme aims at empowering 300 residents of the council area with N100,000 each monthly.

He assured that all indigent residents will feel the positive impacts of his administration.

“The empowerment programme was put in place to assist indigent residents of the council. We will spend N30 million on 300 residents on a monthly basis with each beneficiary going home with N100,000,” Ishola popularly called Ejigbadero said
