As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand the structure of the Oduduwa Development & Integrity Organisation (ODIO), the leadership and representatives of the organisation paid a courtesy visit to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The organisation also announced the appointment of Alhaji Bolaji Raji, a distinguished and proud son of Yorubaland, as the new Grand Patron of ODIO.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Advisory Council, Hon. Adewale Fasade, gave a detailed overview of the vision, mission, and core objectives of the organisation, emphasizing ODIO’s commitment to the promotion of unity, development, peace, and integrity across Yorubaland and Nigeria at large.

In his remarks, the Director-General of ODIO, Hon. Otunba Olusola Orelaja, highlighted the importance of involving respected and influential personalities such as Alhaji Bolaji Raji in advancing the goals of ODIO. He further outlined the expected roles and responsibilities attached to the office of the Grand Patron.

Responding, Alhaji Bolaji Raji expressed deep appreciation to the leadership and members of ODIO for the honour bestowed upon him. He commended the courage, passion, and dedication demonstrated by the organisation and praised the representatives present from different parts of Yorubaland for their commitment toward fostering peace, unity, and progress among Yoruba people and Nigeria as a whole.
