The Onisabe of Igbobi Sabe, His Royal Majesty, Oba Owolabi Adeshina Adeyemi Adeniyi (Maforunyomi I), has felicitated with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as an exceptional leader, visionary statesman and worthy son of Lagos.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the governor’s birthday, the monarch commended Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to the growth and development of Lagos State, noting that his leadership has continued to drive the vision of a Greater Lagos for the benefit of all residents.
“On this special day, I celebrate an exceptional leader, a visionary statesman and a worthy son of Lagos,” Oba Adeniyi stated.
The traditional ruler said the governor’s dedication to public service and good governance had earned him admiration across the state, adding that his administration remained focused on delivering prosperity and sustainable development.
According to him, Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the progress of Lagos through transformative leadership and people-centred policies.
“Thank you for your unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of our dear state,” he said.
Oba Adeniyi also prayed for divine guidance, sound health and renewed strength for the governor as he marks another year.
“May your new age be filled with divine wisdom, good health, renewed strength and greater accomplishments as you continue to build a Greater Lagos that works for all,” he added.
The monarch further wished the governor long life, continued success and more accomplishments in office.
“Happy Birthday, Sir. Long life, sound health and continued success,” he said.
He described Sanwo-Olu as a visionary, dedicated, transformative and inspiring leader whose stewardship continues to positively impact the lives of Lagos residents.
