Inner Wheel District 911 Inaugurates Kikelomo Olasoji as 43rd Chairman

It was all glitz and glamour on Sunday, 12 July, 2026, when the Inner Wheel District 911 inaugurated IWM Kikelomo Olasoji as its 43rd District Chairman for the year 2026-2027, reports thegazellenews.com

Thegazellenews.com also reports that new executive members that will run the affairs of the organisation with IWM Olasoji were also sworn in.

Speaking after her inauguration, IWM Olasoji vowed to continue the good work of the District through empowerment and skill acquisition programmes, as well as giving out sponsorship to underprivileged students.

“At District 911, we have always been known for our charity activities and our team will not relent in improving on this,” she assured.

She related the instance of one of the beneficiaries of the Inner Wheel District sponsorship programme who just graduated with a First Class degree.

“She came thanking the District for seeing her through school and giving her the necessary support and encouragement that made her excel in school,” IWM Olasoji said.

She assured that the District would embark on more of such humanitarian services during her tenure.

Part of day’s activities included subsidised chopping where members went home with various subsidised items.

The Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Oluseyi Jakande, commended the Inner Wheel Club District 911 for its humanitarian services which he noted, has uplifted many indigent families.

“We identify with your activities and I must commend the Club’s positive impact on the Nigerian populace,” he said.

Jakande assured that his administration will support the Inner Wheel District 911 team while calling on other organisations to emulate the association in supporting government at all levels to make life better for the people.
